How many years have you been practicing and where did you graduate from?

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Irvine in 2017. I then went on to graduate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and have been practicing general dentistry at Appalachian Mountain Health since September 2025.

What do you enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients here in Western NC?

I have really enjoyed being part of an organization that’s committed to making dental care accessible for everyone, regardless of a person’s circumstances. Many of our patients face barriers that can make it difficult to receive constant care and it has been meaningful to help bridge that gap. I’ve always had a passion for serving underserved communities, so being able to combine that with the mission of Appalachian Mountain Health has been especially fulfilling.

What is your approach to patient care?

My approach to patient care centers on compassion, respect, and a whole-person perspective. I aim to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where patients feel valued and empowered to take an active role in their oral health. I strive to provide education that helps patients understand the connection between their oral health and overall well-being.

What is one piece of health advice you find challenging to follow yourself?

I find it challenging to eat a hearty breakfast in the morning during my busy work week.

What is your favorite local restaurant?

There are so many restaurants I’m excited to try. So far, my favorite local spot is Sunny Point Café.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places, trying different foods, and staying active through sports and fitness.
