How many years have you been practicing and where did you graduate from?

What do you enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients here in Western NC?
What I enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients is the opportunity to truly connect with people. Our community in Western NC is incredibly diverse, and every patient brings their own unique history, experiences, and strengths. I love meeting individuals where they are, listening to their stories, and learning what matters most to them. It’s an honor to be welcomed into those moments, to be a small part of their journey, and to help create a space where they feel seen, supported, and cared for.
What is your approach to patient care?
My approach to patient care is conservative, with a strong emphasis on prevention and patient education. I strive to help patients feel confident in their treatment and empowered to take an active role in their oral health.
What is one piece of health advice you find challenging to follow yourself?
I try to limit sweets like I advise my patients to, but I must admit I have a soft spot for chocolate.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
I’m still on the hunt for my go-to local coffee spot, but so far Rowan Coffee is at the top of my list.
Do you have any special interests?
I enjoy immersing myself in the arts, finding unique coffee shops to try, spontaneous adventures, and catching the latest film releases.
What languages are you fluent in?
English.
