Dr. Chere Graham, DNP


How many years have you been practicing and where did you graduate from?

I have been a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) since 2018. Prior to that I was an ER nurse for 19 years. I have lived and worked in Fairbanks, Alaska and Northern Arizona during that time.

What do you enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients here in Western NC?

My grandparents lived in Western North Carolina and I always loved visiting the mountains ever since I was a child. I am thrilled to be living in Western North Carolina with the honor of serving and caring for it’s residents.

What is your approach to patient care?

My practice goals include getting to know my patients personally and establishing a trusting long term relationship where we can discuss health problems and treatment goals together as a team.

Do you have any special interests?

In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, being a dog mom, music/concerts and playing my banjo.
