How many years have you been practicing and where did you graduate from?

I graduated from South University in Savannah, GA March 2014 and have been practicing since August 2014.

What do you enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients here in Western NC?

I enjoy the diversity I get to see as I have the privilege to serve patients all across the WNC region.

What is your approach to patient care?

My approach is to help patients feel comfortable getting help for mental health symptoms, providing thorough patient education, shared and informed decision making, and encouraging lifestyles that foster better mental health such as sleep hygiene, exercise, limiting screens, social engagement, and keeping a daily structure/rhythm.

What is one piece of health advice you find challenging to follow yourself?

I have a major sweet tooth!

What is your favorite local restaurant?

Nine Mile.

Do you have any special interests?

Spending time with my family, exercise, time outdoors, exploring new areas.
(I love road trips!).
