What do you enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients here in Western NC?
I just enjoy getting to know all my patient’s, their unique backgrounds and stories and I love that I get to help those who are underserved, it means a lot to help those most in need.
What is your approach to patient care?
I always approach patient care with kindness and compassion. In today’s world it is easy and unfortunately common to judge and write people off. It is so important to me that I don’t fall victim to that and provide my patients and their guardians with a space to voice their concerns and needs.
What is one piece of health advice you find challenging to follow yourself?
I always struggle with screen time, using my phone/electronics before bed or just using it too much instead of being active and involved. I think it’s something we all face today and we all are doing our best to reduce the usage and get re-connected with life outside of entertainment and technology.

Pack’s Tavern or Daddy Mac’s both have fire brisket mac n’ cheese
