Dr. Farshid Hejabiyan, DMD
How many years have you been practicing and where did you graduate from?
I’ve been practicing dentistry since 2024 after graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
What do you enjoy most about serving Appalachian Mountain Health patients here in Western NC?
It’s fulfilling to provide care in a setting where I know it’s truly needed and valued. Folks here are resilient and appreciative, and once you’ve built a relationship, that trust and mutual respect go a long way.
What is your approach to patient care?
My approach is to simply meet people where they are, listen without judgment, and work together toward better oral health. I aim to make dental visits as comfortable and low stress as possible.
What is one piece of health advice you find challenging to follow yourself?
I try to eat healthy overall, but I’ve always had a soft spot for sweets, but the important thing is to have balance, not perfection.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
I’ve enjoyed the country style restaurants around here. It has been a nice part of living in this area.
Do you have any special interests?
Outside of work, I enjoy going on road trips, sometimes short, spontaneous ones. I also enjoy deep conversations about the bigger questions in life, perhaps around a bonfire with good company.
What languages are you fluent in?
English and Farsi.
